Aijens is a physiotherapist, a masseur and is currently obtaining a category C trainer qualification.

Provides physiotherapy and massage services, promoting preparation for loads and recovery after them.

As an athlete, he has participated in both European and world championships in 24-hour running, as well as in Latvian ultramarathons and triathlons of various distances, so his understanding of load, preparation and recovery is based on both personal and professional experience.

In 2024, together with Lukass Lappuķe, they completed the Baltic Way Triathlon in honor of the 35th anniversary of the Baltic Way, with the support of the TRI KAN club. The documentary "United in Freedom" is available online on Go3.
